Where to play it
Sugar Rush came out in 2022 and quietly became one of the most played Pragmatic Play titles on crypto sites. It looks like another candy slot. It is not. The grid remembers where wins happened, and in the free spins that memory lasts the whole round, which is how a modest-looking bonus can turn into a few hundred times your stake.
If you are about to play Sugar Rush with bitcoin, here is the mechanic, the RTP caveat and a sensible way to size bets.
Seven by seven, and the grid remembers
There are no lines. Five or more identical symbols touching horizontally or vertically form a cluster and pay. Winning symbols explode, new ones fall, and the tumble continues while clusters keep forming.
Every time a winning symbol explodes, the cell it sat in gets marked. If a second win explodes on a marked cell, that spot becomes a 2× multiplier. Each further win on the same spot doubles it. When a cluster covers several multiplier spots, their values are added and applied to that cluster's win.
In the base game, marks and multipliers clear once the tumble sequence ends. So most base spins are what you would expect: small clusters, occasional chains, a balance that slides between them. Now and then a long tumble lands three or four wins in the same corner and you see a 4× or 8× spot pay out. That is the preview of what the bonus does.

A worked example: a cluster of six gummy bears pays 1× your stake on its own. If it covers one 8× spot and one 4× spot, those add to 12×, and the cluster pays 12× instead. At C$0.50 a spin, that is C$6 instead of C$0.50, from a perfectly ordinary cluster.
Reaching 128× on a single spot in one base-game spin almost never happens. In the free spins, spots have twenty or thirty spins to climb, and that changes everything.
Free spins are the whole game
Three to seven scatters award between 10 and 30 free spins; more scatters, more spins. During the round, every marked cell and every multiplier stays on the grid until the round ends. Early spins mostly lay down marks. Middle spins turn them into 2× and 4× spots. If the grid has a cluster of 16× and 32× spots in the same area by the last third, a single cluster crossing them can pay more than the rest of the session combined.
The flip side is just as real. If the marks scatter randomly across 49 cells and never stack, a 10-spin round can end at 5× or 10× the bet. Seven-scatter, 30-spin rounds are rare and are where the 5,000× maximum lives.
A small habit we recommend: watch where the marks pile up in the first five spins. It changes nothing about the odds, but it helps you understand why a round paid what it paid, and it cures the feeling that the game "owed" you.
